The profit-making PSU has recently advertised the vacancy for the Artisan Trainee from the following trades.
- MTO (Machine Tool)
The ITI certificate holder from above trade can apply for the post of Artisan Trainee in the CCI.
In this post, I will discuss the salary in hand, pay scale, allowance, facilities of the Artisan Trainee in Cement Corporation of India Limited.
CCI Artisan Trainee Salary
As per the official notification, the pay range of newly selected candidates will be 8,400 – 20,400/-. This is an old scale and due to the revision from 1st January 2017.
The entry basic pay for the ITI certificate holder will be 8,400/- after successful completion of the training.
Those who clear the training course in CCI will get appointed as permanent employees of the company.
The regular staff of Cement Corporation of India will also get the DA, HRA, perk, performance-related pay, etc. The full details of Artisan Trainee Monthly salary are shown in the following table.

So, after training, a newly recruited ITI candidate will get a monthly payment of Rs 26,208/- From regular appointments in the service.
This salary will get increase further after the implementation of 3rd PRC for the non-executive staff in CCI.
AT Salary during training
The training period for the Artisan Trainee will be of One Year. During the training, they will get a fixed monthly payment of Rs 8,400/- per month.
The work of AT depends on the ITI trade. All Artisan Trainees have to perform the following activities in the plant according to instructions of senior.
- Preventive maintenance
- Schedule Maintenance
- Breakdown Maintenance
An AT electrician will have to perform the following works related to the electrical department like motor winding, repairing/cleaning/greasing of equipment, regular testing, installation, etc.
Similarly, other ITI Trades certificate holders (Instrumentation, Welder, Fitter, MTO (Machine Tool), Mining, Production) have to work according to the section requirements.
