MPSC Salary and Post List after 7th CPC 2019

Maharashtra Public Service Commission also is known as the MPSC among all aspirants who have a dream to work at the highest level position in the state government.

The Maharashtra State each year releases the notification for the recruitment of Civil Servants at various post levels to work under the different state department.




The MPSC has divided all posts into the following two categories.

The Category A has a better pay structure, facility, and allowance as compared to the other one. In this class, the DSP, Deputy Collector, Tahsildar, and Assistant Commissioner of Sales Tax are the most famous ranks among aspirants.

The second cluster of the posts are of Category B. These Class-B position has comparatively low pay bands, entry pay, and facilities.

I hope most of MPSC appearing candidate might be aware of Naib Tahsildar, Asst Block Development Officer, Deputy Education Officer, and Sales Tax Inspector positions in the Maharashtra State.

So, if you are preparing for MPSC, I would suggest trying for the Group A position mentioned in the official advertisement.

The Government of Maharashtra has recently implemented the 7th pay commission guidelines for the staff and officers working under the various ministries and department.

So the PSC recruited officers salary also get revised according to the pay commission committee report in the state.

The executives appointed in the grade pay of 5,400 will get a gross salary of Rs 69,720 – 81,096/- per month. It is the highest pay of a newly joined MPSC officer through the State Civil Services Examination.

Tahsildar post also comes under category A with grade pay of Rs 5,000. The new pay matrix level for this position is S-19 with entry pay of Rs 55,100/-. The total emoluments for the post would be Rs 68,120 – 77,336/- per month by adding the mandatory allowances with the basic pay.

The new pay matrix level S-14, S-15, and S-16 come under the category B. The gross salary corresponding to these ranking positions will be around Rs 55,880 – 63,464/-, Rs. 52,160 – 59,248/-, and Rs 48,320 – 54,892/- per month respectively.

If you are preparing for the MPSC State Service Examination, I would recommend trying for the Category-A position. You would get a high rank in the state cadre employee, receive a decent salary, and get many facilities from the state government.
