Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation established in the year 1962 to set up industries in the state in a planned manner.

The Maharashtra government has implemented the 7th Pay Commission for the employees working under the state govt. The pay for all post got revised from 01 January 2016.
The topmost position in the recent recruitment is of Junior Engineer, Stenographer (Lower Grade), and Senior Accountant whose pay scale is 38,600 – 1,22,800/-.
In the case of MIDC Assistant post, the pay scale will be Rs 35,400 – 1,12,400/-. The entry pay for this position will be Rs 35,400/-.
Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation Surveyor, Technical Assistant, and the Electrician post holder will get placed in the revised Pay Matrix Level-8 with initial basic pay of Rs 25,500/-.
The revised pay band for the Clerk Typist, Driver, Fitter, and Pump Operator 19,900 – 63,200/- which is corresponding to Level S-6.
The lowest cadre post in the recruitment is of Peon and Helper. Both will get the Pay Band of 15,000 – 47,600/- in the Level S-1.
