The Andhra Pradesh Finance department notified the government order number G.O.Ms.No.48 on 30th April 2015 for the revision of House Rent Allowances.
As per the recent order, the government divided all cities of the state into four groups for the calculation of HRA.

Important Points to remember
If a govt staff posted in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, he/she will be entitled to a maximum of Rs 20,000 per month.
In the case of any other place, the ceiling for the HRA is Rs 15,000 per month.
