GAIL ET Salary
The Graduate Engineers recruited through GATE examination appointed in the GAIL at E2 pay scale (60,000 – 1,80,000) at the post of Sr. Engineer/ Sr. Officer.
The new appointees get the starting basic pay of 60,000 per month and apart from this they also eligible to get IDA, Cafeteria Allowances, PRP, Conveyance Allowances, Provident Fund, & Superannuation benefits, etc. The salary breakup for the newly recruited engineers in the GAIL India Limited shown here in the table.

By observing the above table the gross pay for a fresh engineer at E-2 Grade would be Rs 1,29,828/- or 1.3Lacs approximately. Here, I want to mention that the superannuation benefit is paid after retirement as per the rules of the organization. Hence the GAIL India Executive Trainee salary in hand may less than the amount shown above due to Tax deductions, the amount allocated to Superannuation benefits, provident funds, etc.
