The 2nd Pay Revision Committee had proposed the superannuation benefits (SAB) schemes for the employees working in the Public Sector Undertakings. The government of India has accepted the 2nd PRC suggestion and the proposal.
As per this scheme, the 30% Basic Pay plus IDA will be provided by the CPSE against the EPF, Gratuity, Pension, and post-retirement benefit contribution.
The PSUs which have implemented the 2nd PRC recommendations, they are contributing above said post retiral benefits.
BSNL too started the contribution for the same whose details are hereunder.

So Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited is depositing total 25.1% of Basic Pay plus IDA against the Superannuation benefits for each directly recruited employee.
