The Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited has invited the application for the young Engineers from the Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Metallurgy, etc at Group A lower management post.

The candidate has to go through the written examination which is going to be held at Chennai and personal Interview.

If you check the advertisement there is no info about the cut-off or qualifying marks in the interview as well as written examination. That doesn't mean that there are no minimum qualifying marks at all for the recruitment.

Most of the recruitment processes have 40% qualifying marks in both the sections. So the candidate must get more than 40% in written as well as Interview.

The Cut off marks may be higher than 40% due to the level of competition for the post in the CPCL.

The Companies take 3 times candidates for the interview round to the total number of vacancy in each stream. So top candidates from each stream will be shortlisted for the Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited personal Interview round.

Final merit list will be based on aggregate marks in the written and the interview section. The ratio of weightage would either be 75:25 or 80:20.
