The Sub Inspector Job in any state is reputed post in a government department. Although it is a challenging but many Bravehearts like the position and the power and dignity attached to the position.

If you belong to the Chhattisgarh state and want to become a Sub Inspector in the state police, you must be aware of the recruitment procedure so that one can prepare for the same in advance.

Generally, state governments conduct the SI recruitment examination every year in the most the states. In the Chhattisgarh state following is the eligibility criteria

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 28 Years
  • Age Relaxation: 5 Years to SC/ ST/ OBC Applicants

Qualification

Chhattisgarh SI Selection process comprises of two parts. The 1st par will have the document verification, physical standard, and physical efficiency test. Those who clear the part 1 round will appear in the 2nd round i.e. written test. Let's check the details of each step individually;

Part-I

Before the part documents will be verified the officers of Chhatisgarh police department. After scrutiny of the document the height, weight, and chest will be measured.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

The PET test include the only race event for all candidates who found eligible for the Efficiency test. The criteria for the race is different for man & woman applicants
