Odisha PSC has recently announced that 500 vacant positions in the Group B Cadre in Home Department to be filled through an entrance exam which is scheduled to be held in the 23.12.2018. The interested candidates can apply for the post through the OPSC Official websites.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Age Limit: 21 Years as on 1st January 2018

Upper Age Limit: 32 Years as on 1st January 2018

Note: The candidates who are fulfilling the age criteria on 01/01/2013, 01/01/2014, 01/01/2015, 01/01/2016 and 01/01/2017 are also eligible to apply for the post.

That also means the candidate belonging to the Unreserved category are getting the relaxation of five years in the upper age limit criteria.

Apart from the above relaxation, the applicant with reserved categories will also get the separate relief in the upper age limit.

For the calculation of the age in the OPSc ASO recruitment process, the date of birth certificate or high school (10th Class) certificate date will be considered as a proof of age of the candidate.

Education Qualification

Must be Graduate from Govt recognized university or college

There is no minimum percentage marks criteria for the post in the graduation.

Must have the knowledge of computer

Other Requirement

Must be able to read write and speak in Odia Language.

Must have pass one of the exam in Odia Language

Middle School Exam with Odia as a Language Subject

10th or Equivalent examination with Odia as Medium of Examination in non-language subject

Candidate must have good mental health and physical health. Before the appointment, the candidate has to go through a medical examination, on the basis of medical examination the final appointment will be made.
