- Platoon commander
In order to be a Sub Inspector in Chhattisgarh, one needs to be cross the 18 Years of age and should be less than 28 Years.
Unlike the other states, the Chhattisgarh SI exam organizes the document verification and physical efficiency test before the written examination.
Those who clear the Physical efficiency test, they get the opportunity to appear in the written examination on Hindi, English, General Knowledge, Aptitude, Science (If applicable) and Computer (If applicable).
Those who lear the written test, they will get an offer letter from CG police for the appointment in the department.

The newly recruited Sub Inspector appointed in the level-8 pay scale of 9,300 - 34,800 with Grade Pay 4,200. The revised pay scale for the post is 35,400 after the 7th CPC implementation.
