The Deputy Superintendent of Police is a group-B level post in the Bihar state. The officers working on this post generally handle the administrative and managerial work of the department.

They have to look after with the works like manpower allocation according to requirement, coordination among internal sections & external department and reporting to senior level authorities on a regular basis, etc.
