There are two types of Pension for BSNL Recruited employees.

1. EPS by EPFO
2. Pension through Superannuation Contribution by employer

You are already aware of the EPS scheme. Under this, an EPFO member gets minimum Pension from the Employee Provident Fund organization.

If the staff choose the higher pension scheme under EPS, he/she can calculate the monthly salary after retirement by visiting the following page.

Now, let's come to the second option. The BSNL has started the contribution for the Pension against the Pension scheme through the superannuation benefits.

Currently, the telecom PSU is depositing 25.1% of Basic Pay and DA for the retiral benefits.

Out of this, 5% monthly deposits goes for Pension scheme.

Depending on your basic pay the amount may vary.

You can check the actual contribution by visiting the following the link. The formula will help you check the monthly contribution amount against PRMB and Gratuity.
