If you are pursuing engineering with the Electronics & Telecommunications, Instrumentation, Radio etc and have a dream to serve the country by working for the Government sector organizations.

The telecom sector Companies recruits electronics engineer regularly at the executive level to fulfill the manpower demand in the organization.

The above-mentioned companies BSNL, MTNL, BBNL, and TCIL all are under the Department of Telecommunications.

BSNL and MTNL have similar nature of work whereas the TCIL & BBNL established for the special purpose of Government of India.

Pay Scale for newly recruited engineers in these CPSEs:

BSNL: 16,400 - 40,500 (Pre-Revised),

MTNL: 20,600 - 46,500 (Pre-Revised),

TCIL: 40,000 - 1,40,000 (Revised), and

BBNL: 40,000 - 1,40,000 (Revised)

Among above 4 companies, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited is the largest PSU under the Department of Telecommunications. It provides various telecom services to end user in each and every part of the nation. Being with such a big company is a really nice feeling. But the company is not in profit these years and hence the possibility of pay revision or hike is diminished for a time being.

We can find the similar situation in the Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited but here the newly appointed young Engineers granted E2 Pay Scale 20,600 - 46,500 which is higher as compared to the BBNL & BSNL.

The Telecommunications Consultants India Limited (TCIL) is only among these 4 Public sector Enterprise which has implemented 3rd PRC Guidelines for its employees. Also, the executive recruited in the TCIL get posted in the Class-I or Group A post, whereas the other 3 Companies recruit Engineers through GATE on Group-B or Class-II post.

By observing the above facts, it may be concluded that the TCIL is best among 4 of them.
