The Jharkhand Public Service Commission has floated the notification for the recruitment of the Assistant Engineers to work in the following departments.
- Department of Road Construction
- Water Resources Department
- Drinking-Water and Sanitation Department
The graduate engineers who possess the Civil Or Mechanical degree can apply for the post of AE in the above-mentioned departments.
The newly recruited candidates will be on probation for two years. Thereafter they will become the permanent employee under the government of Jharkhand.
Jharkhand PSC AE Salary in hand
As per the official notification number 05/2019, the pre-revised pay band for the Jharkhand Assistant Engineer post is 9,300 – 34,800 with Grade Pay of 5,400/-.
After the pay commission, the revised pay scale for the post is now 53,100 – 1,67,800/- which corresponds to the Pay Matrix Level-9.
The entry basic pay in the cadre will be Rs 53,100/- in all three departments.
Apart from this, they will receive the HRA, DA, MA, and city allowances as per Jharkhand Pay Commission rules.

The successful candidates will get an appointment letter any of the above-said organizations. The gross salary for these fresh engineers will be Rs 68,068 – 75,916/- per month from the date of joining the service under the Jharkhand government.
